This coupe really made my day! I love how mean it looks with those wide Watanabes and massive

One of my most favourite photographers in Japan HIGHTOPFADE cought this stunning Levin at the Slammed Society Meet. This is exactly where Im aiming

with my own Coupe. Thanks for the inspiration!
Its amazing how Tsuchiyas Trueno keeps evolving further and further. After a brand new 7AGE engine done by Tec Arts earlier this year he ditched the good old SSR Dori
Dori Mesh and moved to a new set of Work CR-01s. And by the look of it it also
sits a bit lower in my opinion… did he change the suspension setup yet again?
Seeing how the enthusiast took upon the new 86 makes me feel really good because I lost hope in new cars some time ago and now Im regaining it again. Thanks Toyota! As someone who really loves the good old AE86 I was looking forward to see what combinations can people come up with to refer to the old 86 with their new 86.
This cought my eye on RS Watanabe website, I know its probably not everyones taste but I love the idea!

Just
came across this mean looking GT-V on Minkara. I really like the agressive look, especially from the
rear.
I never really understood why there are so many abandoned cars in Japan. Sure, seeing a wreck along the road once in a
while is pretty normal everywhere but why would someone leave a car like this N2 86?
And thats far from the worst cases you can spot in Japan. I saw an abandoned 993 GT2 with my own eyes in Okazaki… Picture courtesy of donguri kusahiro blog.
When youre a maniac like us and you browse through dozens of Corolla photos every day it becomes harder and harder to get excided about regular AE86s over time. Its pretty natural once you get used to something. Thats why I was surprised when I cought myself staring at this fairly “regular” 86 and saying “WOW” over and over again. Theres nothing special about her really, its just another beaten up Levin with worn paint and mishmatched body panels. But theres something about her (and I cant figure out what it is) that makes me realize one thing: even the most regular 86 can be amazing.
God I love AE86s!
Before we start with this amazing Levin we need to apologize for the lack of posts on our blog recently. Our other project is growing faster then we can manage which leaves us almost no time and strenght to take care of our beloved little blog over here. But dont worry, we still have some nice posts ready for you!
Lets get down to business then. We already featured this immaculate Levin on our Czech blog once but we love it some much that we cant miss it out over here too. We featured it mainly to show how amazing zenki Levins can look because theres too many Levin owners who blindly convert to kouki frontends without really giving the zenki look any chances… but heres a proof that it works too!
We didn’t feature any drift bangers for a while so we’ll post two today. On one side we really love this wrecked style thats mainly associated with young kids who don’t have the spare cash for paintjobs and brand new parts. We can’t really imagine wrecking our cars like this on the other side though.
We said it many times before and we’ll say it again: New Zealand has the one of the most amazing grassroot car scene there is. Taking your car out to do some skinds in the night is something as natural in NZ as it is in Japan. Their 86s often look simple, but dont get the wrong impression, they drive them hard all the time.
